Sautéd Scallops
Ingredients Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1 chopped shallot
2 pounds chopped chanterelle mushrooms
1/4 cup white port
1/4 cup chopped chives
Ingredients Scallops
1/2 cup butter
2-1/2 pounds scallops
fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup white port
1/2 cup chopped chives
Directions
Sauce:
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the shallots and the mushrooms,
cook until soft, about 10 minutes on medium-low heat. Remove from heat,
add port wine and chives. Heat until hot.
Scallops:
Melt butter and sauté scallops and pepper. Sauté scallops until
they turn white and begin to lose translucency, about 10 minutes. Remove
from heat, add port wine and chives. Add prepared sauce and heat through
