PHIL 4s Surf Fishing And Tip Page

The fall run is on!!!!
Stripers are now hitting the beach in larger
numbers. The bigger fish are starting to arrive along with a bonus of
monster Blues. These are 2 examples caught last weekend by my fishing
partners JW & Chris. The Blue was over 10lbs

and the 40" Striper was
over 20lbs.

Both boys had their 1st Striper and are hooked!! The bait of
choice was Clam and fresh Bunker chunks so get out there now!

Mid - Summer Stipers!
It's midsummer and the
Stripers are still here. I found this fat 34" beauty roaming the South
end of Brigantine in the middle of July when the surf temp is well over
70 degrees. Who says you have to go North in summer to catch Stripers.
Get out there while they are still here. I got it in the middle of the
morning on the incoming tide.

Summer Surf!
It's summer and
the surf temp is over 70 and the Stripers are still here. This is what I
found at the South end at sunup on the outgoing. My biggest this spring
at 42" and a 31"er. Both caught on Clams. The 31"er was on my first cast
of the day and the 42"er was on my last cast. Never give up on that last
cast.

Any questions for me just post a message in the
Surf Message Board.
